A Midwinter Celebration

Held on the eve of the winter solstice, The CQMA Gala is a unique midwinter celebration that brings people together during the longest nights of the year to connect, reflect and celebrate.

Against the backdrop of the historic Australian Shearing Shed, guests gather for an evening of culture, entertainment, fine dining and community spirit. The Gala embraces the universal tradition of midwinter gatherings, where people come together to share stories, strengthen relationships and celebrate the richness that diversity brings to our region.

As the cooler season settles across Central Queensland, The CQMA Gala offers a warm and welcoming opportunity to recognise achievements, foster new connections and celebrate the vibrant multicultural communities that help make our region thrive.
