Become a CQMA Community Connector

Connectors to the community are volunteers that represent their communities and link their needs to CQMA and vice versa.

They are particularly important at CQMA in the communications around Disaster Preparedness and Recovery. All connectors are trained about the way natural disasters are managed in the Rockhampton region and are tasked with taking that information back to their communities.

Please contact Joicy at connectors@cqma.org.au if you would like to volunteer as a connector.

Become a CQMA Community Volunteer

Volunteers are the lifeblood of any community organisation and CQMA is no exception.

We rely upon our fantastic community volunteers to help coordinate activities, events, and functions. All volunteers are registered with CQMA, are Blue Card holders, and are fully insured by CQMA when volunteering with us.

Please contact Marcene at enquiries@cqma.org.au if you would like to become a volunteer.

Become a CQMA Member

The membership elects the Management Committee at our AGM each year, participates in our strategy setting and approves any changes to our governing rules.

Please contact Marcene at enquiries@cqma.org.au if you would like to become a member.

Join the CQMA Management Committee

Our management committee is looking for a few additional members.

If you have a Legal, HR or IT background, and would like to contribute by volunteering your time at CQMA we would love to hear from you.

Please contact Evie at CQMASecretary@CQMA.org.au if you would like to become a committee member.
