Collaborative Cultural Association
In Rockhampton
The Central Queensland Multicultural Association thrives through our membership, our volunteers and our wonderful community support. As a CQMA member or volunteer, or a member of one of our multicultural communities, you are the backbone of our operations, activities and events. We strive to create community harmony and inclusivity amongst our culturally and linguistically diverse residents, and with the dedication of our members, we can make all the difference.
WHAT DO COMMUNITY CONNECTORS DO?
They are particularly important at CQMA in the communications around Disaster Preparedness and Recovery. All connectors are trained about the way natural disasters are managed in the Rockhampton region and are tasked with taking that information back to their communities.
Please contact Joicy at connectors@cqma.org.au if you would like to volunteer as a connector.

WHAT DO VOLUNTEERS DO?
We rely upon our fantastic community volunteers to help coordinate activities, events, and functions. All volunteers are registered with CQMA, are Blue Card holders, and are fully insured by CQMA when volunteering with us.
Please contact Marcene at enquiries@cqma.org.au if you would like to become a volunteer.
