CQMA believe cultural diversity enriches our communities and our humanity.  Our volunteers and staff commit their time to work with the community, organisations, groups and associations to assist people from culturally diverse backgrounds.

We know it can sometimes be difficult to understand Australian ideologies and social customs, lifestyles, business practices and behaviours, especially for new migrants and refugees.  The consequences can include the following:  feelings of alienation, stress, depression, anxiety, tension and confusion; and impairment to finding solutions to the challenges faced when settling into a new country, or learn and adapt to the new culture and conditions.

CQMA provides a range of support and services including:  government-funded community programs and courses; facilitating and supporting activities and events that celebrate cultural diversity and promote community harmony; and where necessary, we support, advocate and refer people to established community services to meet specific needs and generally provide a supportive network.

If you need any help or support, please feel free to contact us, or alternatively, complete the following information and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
